Chapter Philanthropy and Service
Zeta's national philanthropy of Breast Cancer Education & Awareness is extremely important to our chapter. Every year Gamma Pi hosts the Diamond Challenge Softball Tournament where we encourage families, athletes, and other organizations to participate in softball games. We also have an annual Pink Picnic fundraiser out on the front lawn and Pink Week festivities during a week in early October. The Gamma Pi chapter has raised more than $50,000 for the past three years to benefit women nationwide through programs such as Think Pink, Race for the Cure, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
In 2016, Gamma Pi hosted a Silent Auction that took place during the Parent's Weekend event. Here we raised $9,000 to benefit our philanthropy. We cannot thank the donors and all others who contributed to make the auction a success!
Thank you so much!
